A Few Words About Brevard Aid to Animals

Our Vision

It is our vision to focus on client health and satisfaction while maintaining operational efficiency to enhance our position as the most affordable, reliable, and respectable veterinary medical facility. This will allow us to provide care for more animals, and help our community to maintain healthy and happy family members.

Our Mission

Brevard Aid to Animals will treat your pet with care and compassion. We are committed to providing quality products and veterinary care at an affordable price. We promise to clearly communicate your pet's treatment options, allowing you to make choices in the best interest of your pet. Our goal is to reduce the number of unwanted animals and to educate our community about animal health, prevention, and wellness.

Our Veterinarian

Dr. James Burnett received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George's University in 2007. Upon graduation Dr. Burnett worked in England as a mixed animal practitioner, before moving to the United States in 2008. Since that time Dr. Burnett has focused primarily on the care of small animals, working both in general practice and emergency clinics in New York, California and Florida. From 2013-2016 Dr. Burnett held the role of Assistant Professor at St. George's University, teaching clinical medicine and surgery to veterinary students. Since that time Dr. Burnett has been practicing locally in Florida and enjoys giving back to the community. He and his wife (also a vet) enjoy all Florida has to offer and are excited to be raising their daughters on the Space Coast. Dr. Burnett loves being active and enjoys CrossFit, fishing, exploring and spending time outside with his family.
